My primary and secondary school education was the same as any other average Malaysian. I went to a Chinese primary school and a kebangasaan secondary school, both located in Seremban where I was born. I was lucky enough to qualify for Science stream for my Form 4 and Form 5 education. I didn’t take arts even though I had interest in it.

When I went on to higher education, I made it into Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus and took Foundation in Computing and eventually went on to taking a Degree in Computer Science. I was never a design student to begin with but I started my journey in design in April 2020 by minoring in Creative Media Design while I was doing my degree. Only by taking that first step, was I able to experience the hardships and go through the processes of learning from scratch. I was in no way equipped with the knowledge and skills as the other students taking Design as a major, but I’m determined to learn.
